Upcycled Clothing and Textiles

Previously enjoyed clothing given new life

Stand out from the crowd in an entirely unique piece of Melindorrrr Makes upcycled clothing.  I search thrift stores for clothing pieces that have good bones and that are the perfect canvas  for textile exploration.   With love and care I breath new life into each piece through hand embroidery or natural dyes.  Each piece is one of kind and there are never two pieces exactly the same.

Duvet Sets

Dyed with indigo natural dye and hand tied resists

Due to the unique properties of small batch resist dye each duvet set is one of a kind.  Each set includes a queen sized  duvet cover and two pillow cases made from 100% cotton or 100% linen.

Denim Shorts

Hand embroidered in Canada

Explorations of colour and texture using embroidery thread.  Each design is unique and the wrong side of the embroidery has been carefully backed in order to better preserve the embroidery.
